The amendment adds a 12-month required break in service before returning to work for an SC Retirement System employer and includes language for the Police Officers Retirement Systems that allows officers to return to work after retirement in a critical need law enforcement position. Summary of the bill as introduced: Increases the earnings amount for retirees returning to work under the SC Police Officers Retirement System from $10,000 to $50,000.
